To all my muslim friends , selamat berpuasa dan menjalani ibadah puasa. This year memang sekejap je rasa 2 weeks dah puasa. This year also is a new record for me, WHY?
This year i had a proper break fast everyday, and not like last year and few years back where at least first day of ramadhan i'll breakfast in my car stuck in traffic jam in KL or PJ.

First McDonald Restaurant in Kuala Terengganu
Yes, you heard it rite. First ever McDonald restaurant are going to be open in Plaza Paya Bunga, Kuala Terengganu. This McDonald restaurant are going to be number 2 in Terengganu after the one in Kertih. At last, no more kids from KL screaming to go to McD to have porridge on raya holiday :)
p/s: I can imagine how pack the restaurant will be in first 6 months. Yela, first ever in KT people will go crazy just like they go to first KFC, Pizza restaurant when they open their door for the first time in KT. Me? Do not understand, hmmm :-P

Aku tak pasti berapa ramai yang tahu istilah PARAM, ia sebenarnya singkatan kepada gabungan PASAR RAMADHAN jadi lah PARAM. Mula-mula dengar agak ganjil, kelakar dan pelik haha sebab aku ingat diorang sebut nama pelakon kerdil zaman AR Badul tu param tapi bukan. Tapi lama-lama jadi selesa bila sebut param. Aku guna singkatan ni masa belajar dulu kat UTM, Skudai memang semua pakai istilah ni bila bulan puasa. Sampai sekarang masih menggunakan PARAM bagi BAZAR or PASAR RAMADHAN. Masa mula-mula menetap di Subang, semua orang pelik bila aku sebut perkataan PARAM tapi sekarang tidak lagi malah semua menggunakan PARAM sebab ia pendek, ringkas dan jelas. Marilah semua gunakan perkataan PARAM !!! :-D
p/s: Bulan puasa ni memang aku rajin update blog even kerja melambak, selamat berpuasa ~ !!

Annoying sendmail message

Sep 19 13:01:00 myserver sendmail[3637]: [ID 702911 mail.alert] unable to qualify my own domain name (myserver) -- using short name
If you setup a unix bos especially solaris and do not configure sendmail for your own reason this messages will come a lot and will annoy you. So to stop it bothering you to do your work this is what you had to do
(err the dirty way :) )
#vi /etc/hosts
1) go to your server entry line
#
# Internet host table
#
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.10.10 myserver
After myserver put a single dot "." , so it will become like this
#
# Internet host table
#
127.0.0.1 localhost
192.168.10.10 myserver.
Now the annoying unable to qualify my own domain name is gone.
This actually a sendmail error/warning /notification messages, the other way round is you just disable sendmail services in your box.

Use Unix command in Windows Console
Its hard for me to use windows command line as most of my work are dealing with
unix os. Laptop provided by my company are using Windows XP, so its been difficult
each time i want to edit configuration and do some analyzing or diagnostics using
Windows command line.
To make this easier for me, i combine these 3 tools working in my windows path
VIM for windows, UnxUtils and winbash. Some people will use cygwin instead.
You can download it right here:

So, install in any directory in your windows machine, I put in in C.
And set your environment path to point to\http://win-bash.sourceforge.net/
